What to Expect
YOUR FIRST CLINIC VISIT will generally last from 45-90 minutes. Please arrive at your appointment on time and to fill out your patient information forms.
Your Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) will take a detailed inventory, perform a physical exam which includes blood pressure, and Traditional Chinese Medicine ‘tongue and pulse’ diagnosis; diagnostic tools that are unique to acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
YOUR TREATMENT PLAN
Your practitioner will provide you with a comprehensive TCM diagnosis and will discuss with you:

Your underlying imbalances according to Traditional Chinese Medicine

Your time line and modality of care

Recommendations for types of therapies you will receive including acupuncture, acupressure/therapeutic massage, herbal
therapy, nutrition
SUBSEQUENT CLINIC VISITS include a follow up office visit and 30-45 minutes of treatment including but not limited to Acupuncture and can include additional therapies TBD such as far infrared heat, electro acupuncture or bodywork.
